DCL have today been appointed as Commercial Managers for the electrical and mechanical services installations for the the London Bridge Station redevelopment.
London Bridge station is the fourth busiest in the country, bringing around 50 million passengers into the city each year. The project is a major redevelopement and remodeling of the station that is planned to finish in 2018.
The project includes remodeling of the existing railway lines and the construction of new platrorms and canopies along with additional lines to improve the through Thameslink services.
The project includes a large new concourse that will be accesseable from both Tooley Street and St Thomas’s Street and includes a substantial increase of retail development in the area.
Commenting on the appoinment Managing Director Mark Diviani said, “this appointment recognises the business’s ability to deliver major M & E projects and its knowledge of railway infrastructure”.
